Produce show 2010

The show this year was a very wet affair with heavy rain throughout the afternoon however this didn't put VERA members off and there was a good show of crops despite this summers' difficult growing conditions.

Judy & John Sheen were once again our judges and Judy was particularly complimentary about the high quality of the jams on show.

The best in show award, re-named this year the Brian Pocock memorial award in honour one of the allotments' most long standing and respected plot holders who sadly passed away this year, went to Jan Allwood for her display of soft fruits.
